Standard Motor Product's Professional Technician"s Training "Online Webinar" program went live on January 11 initiating the first quarter 2010 "free trial" period. You can join the Standard Professional Technician's Training Online Webinar by going to www.standardbrand.com, and choose either the "Training" or "Technician" tabs. Then select "PTS Online-Webinars". It only takes a moment to register to participate in the program. We invite you to register and participate in any of their programs at no charge through March 31,2010. Try it out, take a spin and "kick the tires". We're convinced you'll see value in this program for your shops and technicians.
Each highly visual and interactive session will last approximately one hour, focus on a specific technology or diagnostic strategy and provide two breaks for technician Q & A.
During 2010 Standard will conduct 16 "live" webinar training events targeting the professional aftermarket diagnostician. Following the live presentation each webinar will be saved in the "Archive Library" section of the website and will remain available to your shops and technicians.
After view a PTS Technician Training Online webinar the training program will flow to the technician's "MY Playlist" where it will remain available
to them to view as often and whenever they chose.
Working strictly through their distributor customers Standard Motor Products trains approximately 40,000 technicians annually through the PTS Seminar Series of classroom based technician training programs.
